On Sunday, August 21, 2011, Krishna Janam Astami, Hindus celebrate the arrival (avatar, descent) of the Almighty in the form of Bhagwan Shree Krishna on earth. On this occasion, we are organising a festival on August 21. This afternoon we also celebrate the 64th anniversary of the Republic of India. During this days, both spiritual and cultural activities are held. In addition, there will be food and drinks for everyone. Program: 11:30 - 13:00 h: Reception with drinks, digital exhibition, stalls and boutique. 12:15 - 13:45 h: Havan and Puja. 13:00 - 14:00 h.: Kirtan, Bhajan, Paalana (swing ceremony) and opportunity for everyone to donate presaad and/or flowers. 14:00 - 14:45 h: Shree Krishna katha with Dutch translation. 14:45 - 16:00 h: Aarti, presaad, and Satvik meal. 16:15 - 18:30 h: Cultural Program with Indian dance (Krishna lila), deshbhakti songs (collectively singing of the Indian national anthem), poem and dance.       New: Test your pronunciation of Hindi and Sanskrit prayers and mantras. 19:00 - 20:00 h: during the daily darshan. With Kirtan, Bhajan, Paalana ceremony and opportunity for everyone to donate presaad and/or flowers. 23:00 - 00:30 h: Kirtan, Bhajan Darshan of Bhagwan Shree Krishna at midnight, the time of His appearance.
